In the lead up to launching our joint Chinese-Australian SIG, Dr Hilda Maclean will be presenting a free webinar about tracing Chinese families in Queensland. Through a multi-generational case study, this presentation will highlight some lesser-known record sets which may help you find that vital link back to China.

Dr Hilda Maclean is a professional historian, genealogist, and archival researcher with over thirty years’ experience researching family and local history especially around the Gulf of Carpentaria.  Her current project is compiling the Queensland Chinese Death Index (1855 – 1985).
