Topics: Norfolk and Suffolk, Brick wall update and UK Census'
We will continue our popular County Presentations with Suffolk and Norfolk being presented by members at this March meeting. All resources will be sent after the meeting with the recording and chat.
We will also be following up on our December Brick Wall session where the group's wholehearted input helped solve a couple of brick walls! This will include an overview of how DNA can be used as a tool in combination with traditional research methods to help solve a brick wall.
Next, Linda will provide a summary of where to find U.K. Census information as well as some tips & tricks to assist with your research. We will also have a further look at the newly released 1921 Census, again providing some quick tips. Also, if you have found any treasures within the 1921 Census, perhaps you may wish to let others know - this can just be a 2-3 minute chat (no powerpoint presentation needed) on what you found. This might be things like: unusual notes included on the Census, or where someone added their goldfish to the count, or you may have solved a family mystery or found a mystery!
Then, if we have time, we will open up to a general Q&A session where we ask everyone attending to help other researchers by giving suggestions or guidance on finding resources if you are able to assist.
There are two ways to ask questions:
1. Before the meeting by clicking here, and
2. Via the Chat Box any time during the meeting.
Suitable for the beginner as well as the more experienced researcher.
