SECONDHAND - An Account of Jacob Isaacs, Jewish Convict and Benjamin Isaacs, Christian Printer and Publisher. Jacob ISAACS was transported to the penal colony of NSW on the Royal Admiral arriving in Port Jackson on 20 November 1800. His son Benjamin apprenticed in London to a printer and came free in 1823 and gained a position of compositor with The Sydney Monitor.
