Applications for membership can be made online below.  Alternatively, you can contact us by phoning (02) 9247 3953 for a print application form or email us.  You can also join at your first visit to the Library when we are open.

Annual Subscription

Current membership rates: single subscriptions start at $90 annually, with joint subscriptions starting at $135.  Full-time eligible student rate is $30 per year. Multi-years options are also available, simply select the level of membership appropriate to your needs and follow the online prompts to join. 

Joining Fee

A joining fee applies once when you first join and is in addition to the annual subscription:

• Standard $20.00
• Concessional (Full pension & full-time students) $10.00

The concessional joining fee is available to Australian residents who hold an Australian Department of Social Security full pension and health rebate card, or are full-time students at an approved Australian educational institution. Documentation which confirms this may be requested.

Sustaining membership

Sustaining membership is an opportunity to provide us with a fully tax-deductible, GST-exempt donation in addition to your annual subscription. Sustaining membership funds are used to ensure we can purchase the latest resources for researchers. There are three levels available:

• Silver $100 or more donation;
• Gold $250 or more donation; and
• Platinum $500 or more donation.

You can become a sustaining member when you join or renew your membership and you can change the level of your support, or revert to a standard membership, at any time.
