Want to share your family history stories but struggle with PowerPoint?

With many Family History Societies using virtual software for their meetings and to share their family history stories, knowing how to put together a basic PowerPoint presentation has become essential knowledge as well as a great way to share stories with family and friends.

This two-part course will start with the basics of how to put together a presentation including basic backgrounds, text, images and simple animation. In the second part we look at ways to make your presentation standout such as advanced backgrounds, animation, video and sound.

At the end of the course you will have a personalised presentation and the opportunity to present at the Friday Hang Out with the SAG members event.

This is a hands-on workshop delivered via Zoom. You should have PowerPoint software installed on your computer (ideally not the online version as some functionality can be lost with some versions).

Pre-work is required for both sessions.

No prior knowledge of PowerPoint is required.

This course will be recorded for those who are unable to attend live.
