Many of SAG’s courses are now delivered online using Zoom.  This course is designed to introduce you to this online video conferencing platform and show you how it works.  By the end of the session, you will be equipped with the skills needed to connect with other members of the SAG community and participate in the many online offerings currently available.

Delivered in person by Andrew Redfern, a trained educational IT specialist, this course will be highly practical and hands on, paced appropriately to the members of the group.  Topics will include:

1.      What is Zoom?
2.      Setting up Zoom
3.      Using Zoom to connect with others
4.      Customising Zoom to suit you
5.      Using the features of Zoom

There will also be plenty of time for your own questions and practical examples.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own device (laptop, tablet or phone) to learn the necessary skills.  A computer will be made available for those unable to bring their own device

This course is FREE, being delivered as part of the BeConnected Program, an Australian government initiative committed to increasing the confidence, skills and online safety of older Australians.

Max: 10 Participants & includes morning tea
