An introduction to GEDmatch, a free DNA comparison and analysis website which helps you analyse your autosomal DNA test results for genealogy. The session will cover topics such as setting up an account, downloading your results from your testing company and uploading it to GEDmatch, and a discussion of some of the analyses that you can conduct. Tier 1 analyses will NOT be covered.

This session is aimed at people who have already had their DNA tested but have either not used GEDmatch before or have little experience with it. Attendees should already have knowledge of basic DNA concepts and tools. This session complements the 4-part series on Chromosome Analysis currently being conducted by Veronica Williams.

The scheduling of this session has been timed to complement the series of webinars on chromosome analysis being presented by Veronica Williams, however, anyone is welcome to attend.

There will be time for participants to ask questions.

For privacy reasons this session will not be recorded. You should only register if you can attend live.

Skill Level: Beginner-Intermediate  Presenter: Danielle Lautrec
