Do you have ancestors from Lancashire? Many Australians of British descent can trace at least some of their ancestors to this county that was a major commercial and industrial region during the period of the industrial revolution.

Join Archivist Victoria McCann from Lancashire Archives as she outlines what is available at the archives, which are located in Preston, Lancashire, and how they can help you progress your research. The archive includes material covering the pre-1974 county of Lancashire - the historic County Palatine of Lancaster - which stretched from South Lakeland to Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.

Skill level: All      Presenter: Victoria McCann, Lancashire Archives
