As part of National Family History Month, Hornsby Shire Family History Group and Hornsby Shire Library invite members and friends of SAG to their annual Geneagala Day of presentations and research assistance.

This year renowned researcher and SAG board member Kerry Farmer will be presenting two talks across the day.

• 10.30am – Unlocking Ancestral Secrets: confirming family history with DNA
• 1pm – Navigating Australian Family History

In addition, HSFHG volunteers will be available for a free 30-minute session to assist people with their own family history research.

The event is planned for Saturday August 3, 2024, at Hornsby Shire Library, 28-44 George Street Hornsby (opposite the train station) and entry is via Hunter Lane, Hornsby. Doors will open at 10.00am with the first presentation commencing at 10.30am.
