Curious about what your DNA ethnicity results really mean?

This beginner-friendly webinar is designed to help you make sense of ethnicity estimates and how they fit into the bigger picture of genetic genealogy. If you’ve taken a DNA test and found yourself wondering why your results look the way they do—or how they connect to your family history—this session will give you the clarity and confidence to move forward.

You’ll learn how ethnicity estimates are created, why they can change over time, and how different testing companies approach them. We’ll explore what these estimates can (and can’t) tell you about your ancestral origins, how to interpret percentages and regions, and why ethnicity results should be seen as a starting point rather than a final answer.

No prior DNA experience is required—just curiosity and an interest in your heritage.

Perfect for those new to DNA testing or genetic genealogy, this webinar provides a supportive introduction to understanding ethnicity estimates within a family history context.

By the end of the session, you’ll be better equipped to read your results with a critical eye and understand how they can complement traditional genealogical research.
